They are epically loud with no can.... Could not resist running mine like that when I had the chance .

Looks like you have a good project there.

ok so had another look at it, not got the carb kit yet so not taken them off yet (weekend cant come quick enough....) however, i have identified an electrical fault i hadnt noticed, when its turned on and running the fuel light flickers randomly the indicators arent at their correct rate, the rev counter keeps sweeping randomly and the odometer flickers and resets repeatedly, so evidently id say some kind of bad connection or if like the trumpet a ****ed stator since it did all the same things (and was a ******* to fix) but im thinking its probably just a few corroded connections since its only done 40k and it HAS been completely unloved...any idea's on this one lads and ladies?(now ive got the anti sexism post out the way.....PWHOAR TITS! )

it is a VERY rustic project, one that the more i look the more work it needs, but i have a plan of action and im sticking to it, first making sure the engine runs and is solid, then the electrics and then onto brakes bodywork and zorst sytem etc. once thats all done and everything is sorted, then i'll start modding it knowing it all works as it should
