I used double sided tape to hold in place while I drilled holes then used small screws.

Same. But I did bottle out of doing it myself and got Spannerman to fit it for me .

Mines been on for a year or so now using silicone. Im a plumber and hae seen basins etc stuck to the wall using silicone alone. As long as both surfaces are clean and free of dust etc, it should have no problem. Its pretty strong stuff.

Although if you did want to take it up a level, there are products like stix all and no more nails which are stronger again!

Having said that, sometimes you just cant beat a screw lol

Silione and a couple of nice anodised black button heads. Found the mud leaked thru without silicone.
