i like to see old classic bikes still being used and not locked away in some garage only to be looked at or taken to some bike show or other. well done to your dad.

so how did you like of Scotland?

Many thanks for the info, it certainly looks spectacular.
Have yet to figure out how to post a message generally on the board rather than just a reply.
Just bought an SV having sold my Street Triple. My son has an SV also.

The triple is a great bike.
Nothing can live with it !!!!!!!!!!
It is just so much fun but also too full on.
Had a 1200 Bandit before.
Need to act my age and just enjoy the ride rather than scream about too often.
Tyres are too expensive !
I really missed the lack of a fairing especially after the long, very long winter.
Also with the high exhausts I was unable to use my soft panniers.

Always been a fan of Scotland from when I was a kid. Started mountain biking, loved it more. And now with a motorised bicycle, it's even better again. The dad was hoping to reach the quarter million mile mark on the Velocette when we were up there but alas, still about another K short.

Lovely pics, another shout for where the first two are taken please. YC and I are heading up far north Scotland in July, if the weather's as good as you've had it we'll be happy bunnies. I've been lucky with good weather for my trip up earlier in the month, twice could be pushing it!
