Yup, to the face of the downpipe between it and the head. Ordered some more, hopefully they wont explode this time.

Weird, you wouldn't think there was that much pressure on them, but then again you were raggin' it for all it was worth.

Yeah, but they were replaced like 3000ish miles ago when i painted(pretty unsuccessfully) the downpipes, and just failed all of a sudden. Ah well..
