Did an 80 mile bimble in the new Held jeans today. I can't get on with the knee protection though. Very comfy and quite cool in 25 degrees. Got a bit warm playing Swingball but they probably weren't designed for that sort of activity.

I buy Icon jeans from the states. Very comfy, very well made and quite cheap.

Word of warning on all of these, check the washing instructions carefully. After getting my Draggin jeans grubby I washed them on a 30 degree wash and they shrank by over a size. I know it wasn't just me putting on weight as the other jeans I washed at the same time still fit me and Paul Davies had the same problem with his. It does say on them wash cold but if you do that it doesn't really get them very clean. The new Held ones say up to 40 degrees but don't use fabric conditioner.

I love how the OP asks for cheaper jeans and LPH comes out with a £194 pair Bloody southerners!

I got my Richa jeans off Ebay for about £30 I think. They've got the Kevlar panels and inserts for knee armour. Really comfy and cool but I only wear them for short trips as anything more and I tend to get cold, leathers are far more windproof and obviously slide better.

Well I did say I'd had to spend a lot to get a good fit. I'll be selling my. Dragging jeans cheap. As long as you can fit in a UK size 6 that are a bargain. And my Held ones came with a free handbag so ner!
