They'll be covering up cigarettes

When did people's personal accountability cease to exist? (Admittedly a different debate)

I'd love to see the publishers of those magazines go "oh right, sod off then" and I bet there would soon be an about-turn based on lost sales of lager, fags and doritos!

I think it's a bloody travesty that some poncho wearing lesbo-fascists can dictate these things. When they are in no way affected by it since they are in no risk of having children without modern science (or a VAST quantity of sambuca) and in absolutely no risk of being the victims of rape due to looking like the back end of a bedford tipper. How do these wastes of skin find the time to whinge about crap like this? Probably got plenty time to spare since they work in a council office somewhere.

Not like kids couldn't see girls in bikinis or less on a beach or anything either. Think it's turning into saudi bloody arabia.

Now I don't read lads mags, I can get my fill of my depraved side interests on the internet, but if some poncho wearing tw*t goes anywhere near the bacon or spirits sections of the shop I will have no hesitation in kicking them to death.

In Germany magazines are displayed without restriction (porn is only available in adult shops). Photography mags have naked breasts on the cover as do newspapers.
For the feminist argument to stack up, these images objectify women and turn every man into a potential rapist, then the crime stats in countries that don't have the restrictions must be greater than those that do.

Peoples common sense seams to leve them when it comes to looks.
Go out in the real world ,look about.
There are few ideal people walking about .
Thankfully (as i hit a pot hole in shrub end ,unashmedly eyeing a fit girl this morning ).

I find that particular feminist argument to be pretty weak.

Some of the most socially conservative countries in the world have the worst records on treatment of woman.

I suspect the crux of the thing is that feminists also typically align themselves with a particular set of morals and they use the feminist argument to promote those morals.

Default Lads Mags cover up - opinions

I don't see it as a problem, as a few people have said I think the women's mags are a worse impact on society! I'd love to see the publishers/editors/what have you, say 'fine by us' to the co-op and see what happens, I don't think they'd be banned for very long

Well by strange coincidence my daughter purchased a copy of Empire magazine, which had a free copy of FHM with it.

There's about 10 pages of pictures of girls in it, all in binkini's, not one bare breast or beaver shot. Disappointed is how I feel now.

Loads of other stuff about Ibiza, cooking, drugs, cycling & Carl Crutchlow, hardly a female demeaning mag
