Converting a naked SV650 to a faired ?

If you get one that's the same colour try and claim that it's her eyesight that's going dodgy and that she must be seeing double haha

It looks pretty much the same as the raptor 2 to me, any front fairing that has a decent size screen should be fine though tbh

There is a "DASH" type that looks very similar, but is incredibly narrow. No good at all to keep the wind off.

What are the headlights like compared to the single headlight on the SV650N ?

If you look on E-Bay at the moment you will find all of the bits you need (radiator, sub front sub frame, head lights, nose cone, plastic in fills) but it wont be cheap.

As it is, My S model has a naked top yoke, risers and Renthals, but the mirrors are now shockingly bad with no rear visibility at all. One other thing to consider is that with a riser bar, the grip comes very close to the fairing edge and in some cases this needs to be modified.

My clocks mount in the fairing rather than on the yoke and I have polished the yoke up so that it still looks nice. An S model with a set of naked bars works really well on the motorway and with a double screen I only have to duck down below it if I need to enter the far right over taking lane on the motorway. Going at full chat is easier ducked down that sat up.

The lights aren't too bad. Twin 35w bulbs, so enough light. It was a small upgrade over the standard single headlight.

Thank you, the seats were recently re-covered after I had the pilot seat repadded and shaped for comfort. She is an ongoing project and one day I will have her exactly how I like her.

Was it expensive to get seats repadded ? My seat gives me back ache after about 50 miles, so was thinking of investing in an airhawk cushion, but they are not cheap !

My seat was done by a local upholsterer here in Weston, he does antique furniture, modern sofas and motorbike seats! The cost was about £40 and I was there when it was done so that we could work out where the padding needed to be. In all, it was a great day for my bottom.
