In a professional break the engine in kinda way... Methodical and regular care and attention. Hence why my confusion why she is misbehaving!!!

After you've checked the breathers and air box we might be a bit further forwards.
You using supermarket or nice petrol? It does make a difference . Are you happy enough to remove and show us the plugs ,Plugs are very good indicators of how a motor feels

Nice petrol - esso the expensive motion lotion.
I will check and post photos of what I can remove... Front plugs are a bi7ch to remove |

+1 for a look at the plugs, and if you can get them both out always useful to compare them. Try and get them out after a decent ride and where you stopped almost immediately, ie: not after the bike has been at idle for a while. As a matter of interest when it did it's spluttering bit was that after you had been riding slowly for a while?

Sorry to distract from your original query but the end can looks like its sitting very far from the rest of the bike. Are you sure that you have the right link pipe?

Ok not had any time to look at the sparks or the air filter yet.... But she coughed or sneezed today on the way to work.... I know someone asked if it was slow speed and last time it was in the motorway and today was doing about 20-25mph...
Was there a reason why you asked if it was slow speed? Seems to do it after she not been used for a few days (long weekend what with the bank holiday).... I also splashed her with lots if water over the weekend as I was cleaning the drive way .... Unrelated? Who knows ... |
