Ta for words of wisdom people....will check out
http://www.apriliaforum.com/forums/forum.php A Mille twin sounds like a 'focused' bike, something I aint ever owned (ridden mates GSCBZXYZ-RRS fa short periods) but 'the right price' + Superbike conversion.......... "Gas it w###a"......... |

I've owned 3 RSV-R's (2001 to 2003 models) and covered about 15,000 miles on them in total.
They are very tall, not particularly light, not particularly powerful (about 110bhp at the back wheel as standard), not particularly reliable (I had more problems in 15k miles on the Aprilia's than I did in 100k miles on various Ducati 748/916's I've owned) and design/build quality leaves somewhat to be desired (think a big 1000cc scooter). I'd not spend more than £1,500 on an old shape non R and no more than £2,500 on an R. |
