I never do anything over the winter to any of my engined tools or my road bike, they fire up first time next time I use them.
On a carbed bike, the most I'd do is drain the carb bowl, or run the bike every few weeks. |

I have a generator that gets fired up every couple of years, spray of easi-start and away it goes !!! never drain it, tank not full, do nothing at all !!! yet it still starts and runs fine
I wash the bike thoroughly, spray with ACF50 or WD40, apply polish to painted surfaces and then leave it under a sheet in the garage. Probably go out every couple of weeks and fire it up, just to enjoy the noise and smell.
