cool, ill try and get a cloth in them to clean it up and see if it stays wet.
it doesnt high idle at first it can sit after closing the choke at about 1.5 quite happily, only after a giving it some revs (more than just going 30 round the corner) and it really being warmed up just doesnt seem to settle back down and the clutch thing just my way of forcing it to go down so dont think its anything bad in the clutch area. Noticed it first on a warm day stood in traffic lol typical |

Uneven idling----Are the carbs properly seated on their rubbers? Can get an air leak there, and have you thoroughly checked the two crankcase breather pipes that run from the airbox to the crankcases? If these come adrift you can get the same, and oil loss.

Re 4, to see level of coolant it may help to shine torch through the bottle from the other side.
