I can get a stock one off of ebay, but they look a bit ridiculous on the bike to me. Also, I'm guessing there is no difference between a SV650S or naked? So I can buy a exhaust that was on either? Cheers |

Org discount at Fuel & if you call them you might get a slight second at a good price, they sometimes have them.

Another vote for Fuel here. I had a couple of them. I had a stubby and found it too loud so got a full length Fuel can.

I have a Scorpion stubby too, and yes, it is stupid loud but I quite like it that way and have never felt much inclined to put the baffle back in but I also don't leave the house at dawn.
I think the baffle does make quite a big difference (it is supposedly road legal with the baffle in, and I do put mine in at MOT time) although it is obviously still a fair bit fruitier than the quiet, massive original item. Personally, I'd go for a baffle as a first option but I guess it all depends on your own personal preference and view of what constitutes loud. |

I've owned the Scorpion street extreme and to be honest there's not a massive difference with baffle in or out, yes the tone with baffle in is not as aggressive, but these stubby exhausts will never be quiet. My baffle was lost on a ride out to the coast and no way was I paying £40 for a replacement.
If you want a quieter exhaust I would recommend a Simmi mid/rear for £120. You should be able to sell your Scorpion on to recoup a lot of the cost. |

After seeking the much valued advice on here I got a Fuel classic oval mini which sounds so much nicer than the huge standard (why on a budget bike use so much metal?) one. Baffle in its loutish but legal, Baffle out its mental.
Get a fuel! |
