It was the ECU!!!!!
Swapped my friend's ecu in my bike and after a few tries it started !!! Tried my ecu in his bike: same symptoms as mine: turns over no spark. Thank you so much to everyone who helped me through this! I'm so happy I found the problem!!! |

Congratulations! What voltage did u get with the bike running and everything connected? I'm still wondering what caused all this.......

Thanks guys! You answering all my questions was super helpful in me getting to the bottom of it!
Glang:I am going to do the charging system inspection once i get my new ecu. Speaking of which:any advice on website to use to order? There is a $500+ on a suzuki part website (new device) there is ONE used ECU on ebay that would fit my bike but it's $225 no return... what do you guys recommend? |

I ordered the one on ebay. cross fingers for me that it's a good one...the seller has 98% positive rating, hope he lives up to it. Just got an email the icu has shipped (that was fast!), verdict in a couple of days.
(btw: I JUST noticed that this was a UK sv650 forum! Had no idea this whole time. Well, you British sv650 owners are the bomb! I'm sticking to this forum for my questions! Greetings from San Francisco! Say hi if you ever come visit ![]() |
