I still have one of Bilbo's gadgets for sale, just plug and play, it'd save you anymore hassle of buying something else that you're going to have to figure out.

main thing is to use a ignition switched relay.

save yourself trouble and just buy the gizmo from mav, seriously i know i made them but trust me they are good, reliable and do the job.
