the opposing argument here:
get some spunky 014's. The roads here in right rural ol norfolk are covered in every conceivable ****e you could imagine. Leaves, salt, mud, diesel, slippy grime, and of course the afformentioned ****e. 014's have been a great all round tyre for me and are excellent in the wet. They give great feedback and inspire confidence. However- I have not tried diablos, but I think the bottom line is, you will struggle to find much between them- its just rider preference. |

We could do this all day.
I haven't ridden on BT14s yet, mostly because of the cost, but I do live in a rural area (the New Forest) and ride in pretty much all conditions, the road attacks haven't let me down yet. |

I tried the D208's which had a decent front but the back tended to let go very easily and didn't last long. Replaced the back only (was in the middle of nowhere and had to take what I could get) with a Mich Hi-Sport which also didn't last long.
I now have Diablo's which are really good and are lasting very well so far (about 5000k's). The only strange thing with them is that they are the only tire/bike combination that I have had where I have worn the front to the edge but the back still has about 5mm untouched. |

I suscribe to the politicians method of answering questions. If you can't answer or don't want to answer the one they ask, answer the one that you do want to answer. |

You may consider this option as well
http://traxxion.com/store/detail.asp?product_id=SVDR This would leave the forks looking standard, but make it handle otherwise. I personally am going for the above, plus some race tech springs and heavier oil. Whatever you decide, best of luck Bud. |
