nah them silver bits look awesome. Saw one in the flesh in a showroom the other day and the suzuki logo on the tank and the SV650S on the fairing look utterly sweet - looks like proper polished metal badges rather than the old coloured stickers. Almost as nice as all silver :P

The all black is cool, but as I've just got a pair of Arlen Ness leathers with blue bit , I'll stick with the best colour.

I like the black frame and the black rims.
Its all about change for some people. With being used to silver for so long it takes a while to get used to, by this time next year it will be taken for granted.

As for my choice of colour, BLUE.
The black is absolutely beaut, but IMHO you need a touch of contrast and thats where the blue comes in. The YC2 blue is a strong rich colour that compliments the others (which is prodominantly Black).
I hopefully will get a chance to see the all Black in the flesh soon and that is when I will make my final decision on what one to go for.
My order is already placed, but colour option is open at this stage.

Has anyone else out there placed an order for a K5 yet, or even thinking about it.
I thought this was the time of the year to do the dealing?

Saw a black svs k5 in the flesh at ESB in Bolton and it's drop-dead gorgeous IMHO.

The black paint has a bit of a metallic effect with these little flecks of purply-blue stuff, looked amazing under the showroom lights. The black rims look great too.

Would tend to agree with others on the black frame with the other colours though, silver frame looks much better.

The black frame and wheels look awesome in my opinion but I was disappointed in the bits they didn't do, e.g. foot rest hangers, chain adjuster plater, etc.

Having seen one up close I was also concerned about the quality of the finish. We all know that even the silver frames mark easily where your boots rub against them when your feet are on the pegs and just from changing the tyres you will get paint coming off around the rear axle and the edge of the wheel rims.

Of the actual colours launched, I reckon only the black and yellow look good, and I don't think we're getting the yellow. Really don't like the red or the blue I'm afraid...

I agree with Mike, leaving the rearsets and the forks silver spoils the look a little... If I was to get one I'd get the forks powdercoated black immediately.

It only looks good on the black bike, the other colours look horrible with a black frame IMHO

WHEN (?) i finally pass my test, i plan on buying black k5, with lowers, carbon hugger and carbon can...
now is that too much black... ?
alternative would be to pick up a cheaper k4, (i would imagine they'll go down in price as the k5's start coming through) with the same kit.

black frame gets my vote, but only just. so probably fall in the not fussed camp.
