Ignore Mabel - what ever next! No - I love the Blade for what it does best but Mabel is number one in my heart (very girlie biker, me). She will back on the road soon, especially since my neighbour has a body shop and will do me a good cheap job (heavy on the quote to the insurance co. of course). How could I not have the little SV for all those nice summer evenings and twisties.

Of course

I did say "as a group" and and not "all solicitors". There are good and bad in all professions and since I hadn't spotted Ed as being one, he must be one of the nice ones!

[Phew!!]

I based my comments on my experience with our in-housers who frequently forget their client-contractor relationship with us (we instruct them, not the other way round), and who also forget that we know more about the legislation and case-law surrounding our profession than they do. I also don't like those who continue to argue the toss against overwhelming evidence simply because they are being paid for their time.

Hope you don't mind me asking, but how long did it take before he 'fessed up?

Its just that I was knocked off from behind a couple of weeks ago and had a letter through from his insurance stating that as far as they are concerned it is all my fault.

I beg to differ. Been in this business for over 15 years, and do you see me riding an MV AGUSTA?
Im suprised Jabba went for a sweeping generalisation on this. I honestly thought he was above that.

There's a difference between a sweeping generalisation and a fact

Sorry, I didn't mean to cause offence. Perhaps I should have written "all solicitors who don't ride a motorbike"?
