£129.95 + £6.95 carriage for a pair of Road Attacks through post. Can't be more than £5 a tyre to get them fitted
I think you'll find by the time VAT and balancing has been added it'll likely work out at around £12-15 per tyre.

.
Paul, shorrocks on leyland rd, penwortham charge £7.50 per tyre to a loose wheel, which includes vat / balance etc. If you dont want to take your old tyre to the tip yourself there is also a £1 per tyre disposal fee.
Cheers Dave, I'll remember that. I bought a part worn front a while back and tried to get it fitted today. Nobody would touch someone elses part worn tyre Ended up fitting it myself. 2 tyre levers and about 15 minutes but would have preferred to get somebody else to do it.

Paul.

Thanks everyone, I reckon I'll go for the Road Attacks then. At the moment, the bike's running the tyres it came with when I bought it: Mez5 front and a D207 rear, so anything should be an improvement on what seems quite a mismatched pair. The front never seems to wear while the back has practically dissolved away in 3000 miles!

Carsick Those prices are from Barclays. The guy there is never Mr Enthusiasm anyway, but didn't seem keen on the Contis at all which is why I asked. Dynomite next door recommended the 020s as well, but maybe thats just familiarity?

Clarkey and Of.uk Thanks but fitting, balancing, realigning the wheel etc. will set me back 30 quid, so its just as cheap to get it all done at once. Plus, I've got nowhere to keep a bike missing both its wheels.

Garedio I'm in Boscombe, near the beach! Yeah, I know, that's why the bike is alarmed, immobilised, disclocked and chained down every night! How about you?
