It was -10 on my half hour ride (which I turned into an hour ride) to work today. I wear a HJC helmet and a balaclava. I just lift up the visor a notch when I am under 15 mph and I never fog up. It is all about getting enough airflow across the visor.

snowmobile visors work best to keep from frosting, some motocycle (HJC for one) helmets are interchangable between their snowmobile visors and motocycle visors.

there are 2 types of snowmobile visors, double thickness visors with air gap in between and heated visors

I have a foggy mask also, but it did actually start freezing on the inside week before last on my way back from Soho. Had to ride most of the way home with the visor up. THAT made my eyes water and my face freeze I can tell you.
