my k4 wasnt started for 4 months and started first time no problems, with the battery reconnected. was on choke a bit longer but has been fine

I don't think they've done anything to the engine to make it run leaner, but then again I just get it serviced and unless there's really something wrong I don't hear about it. They usually just tell me what's been done and that's it.
Could be possible of course especially with all the rules and regulations regarding the environment, CO2 etc. At least I don't have to worry about these problems for a while. I'll ask next time if they can adjust the engine to run better under colder conditions. Might help a little. |

I didn`t realise the early ones suffered in the cold? My mates has done 30 000 miles in all weathers with no problems.
