i take it you have to do all the prep. ie more than removing pistons and seals etc

Just the pistons and seals. The caliper [body] doesn't rust so blasting takes care of everything else.

You'll might want to flush the Callipers out.... ALOT.....and I mean ALOT you dont want Glass beed or sand in you DOT 4 brake fluid.... You never know what might happen....
