The only puncture I have had was caused by a Stanley Knife. This was 150 miles after the new tyre was fitted - b'stards.
supposedly, but ive tested mine out to triple figures with a pillion and no problems have arisen.

the man in the tyre shop said they tell em that just incase something does go wrong. . . but no one in the shop knew of anyone that ever had any problems with these bungs riding at high speeds.

i was wondering about the repair and checked out the BS for tyre fitting(cant remember the no) and it said that z tires should not be bunged. in fact anything above n( ithink) which is 62 mph cant have plugs.

unfortunately the nail hadnot worked its way straight into the tyre, went in on an angle.

this meant that even if the garage was prepared to do it it would have needed a big plug,

anyway the garage that i go to refused to plug it on safety grounds, (i trust them as i use them for tyres for the cages.) the tyre fitter was a bandit 12 owner too so it wasnt like he was a numpty.

so i am now the proud owner of a bridgestone bt020 £94 fitted loose wheels, im getting the front done next week £74 fitted

the dunlop was crap anyway and only had about a thou left in it.

may i recomenend a front BT010 sir ?
they seem to be riders choice, and ive discovered, they are a brilliant combination of tyre, stickyness, combined with good performance in the wet and a long lasting tyre.

(front tyre's dont really wear that much anyway)
