It is a great feeling on a motorbike

It's simple really At slow speeds you steer a motorbike i.e. turn the front wheel in the direction you want to go. At higher speeds you gently do the opposite.

Another explaination - have you ever played with a gyroscope? If you try and turn a gyroscope it will tilt in the opposite direction of the force. The front wheel of a motorbike acts like a big gyroscope.
