Yep, I can go that way to work too, depends whether Im dropping the Mrs off or not. Don't recall offhand seeing a loud raptor, but Im usually too busy paying attention to filtering anyway, so apologies.

Whats the raptor like? I really like the look of the v-raptor but I had heard of issues with quality on them, like the plastics falling off, that kind of thing. That true?

It's absolutely fantastic - the most fun I have ever had on a bike handling, brakes and engine are superb. Probably the easiest bike to ride ever! I've got no issues with the quality at all - seems really nice and hasn't fallen to pieces yet.

I had a few niggles with mine when I bought it. There was a recall for a leaky radiator at one of the mounting points that mine had to have done when I bought it, then an oil cooler fitting was dodgy and leaked, and it ended up in the shop because of a tankful of contaminated petrol but apart from that it's been great. Done nearly 3000 miles on it now after those probs and it's fine now

It's not that loud with the remus cans on it (they're the road legal ones), not like the CCC ones I got with it which were embarrassingly loud so had to get changed

Sounds good. I''m hankerin' after more power now, but can't swap bikes at the mo' cos of lack of money to buy one and insurance cost. I still like my little SV for now though, its loadsa fun in the corners. Think I've gone through twisties like Cat n'fiddle faster on this SV than I have on my other bikes. (Bandit 6 and GPZ500).
