Hi Smiffy,
Glad to be able to help. When you are planning your trip? I might perhaps find some events for bikers for you. For how big is the gang you are coming with? I have one link from estonian biker forum: http://www.biker.ee/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=1970 http://www.biker.ee/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=5046 http://www.biker.ee/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=8306 At least it is something to start with. I haven't been in St. Petersburgh though. ![]() I am glad to help you for planning this trip. So let's start from somewhere. ![]() Regs Alkap. |

Sorry to resurrect a very old thread - but I've recently bought an SV650SK5, with no owners manual - I know the service manuals are on sv650.org but has anyone scanned/pdf'd an owners manual?
Also (as i haven't got said manual) is it normal for the oil light to stay illuminated until the engine is started (the oil level is fine). Thanks. |

Rich,
I had the same situation with my k3. I looked all over the shop for a manual without success. Luckily for me a member on this forum was very generous and posted his old one out to me, you might hope for the same luck ![]() Otherwise, keep an eye on ebay and/or call some dealers. Although my dealer told me that when they last ordered one from suzuki they were still waiting several months later.... In the meantime ask any questions on here that you need to know. My manual says that it is ok for the oil light to be on until the motor is started. Cheers Tom |

http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=115424 Via Baltica here (although skips Russia) http://www.viabaltica.net/engl/indexanglb.html And this guy has a great thread on his travels page http://www.geocities.com/TheTropics/...cyclelink.html Also Alkap, search for break in' or 'breaking in' but not BRAKE in. 'Running in' may also get some hits. Same thing. |

Don't know if someone said, you can buy a manual from Suzuki. Ask at a dealer.
