Pity the insurance register probably won't take note of intentionally aggressive driving. By the sound of it they ought to be blackballed by the insurers/banned from driving for a year or two for stuff like that.

if 4 chavs want to behave in such a way then they deserve everything you can throw at them....
any injuries may take weeks to show up so be careful and get checked out.
besides, if you claim, it will put their insurance up and then they will have to get a smaller cc car so they wont be able to stalk people anymore.

- or just go on a crime spree.....

Get a lawyer and let them advise you on how to sue and what for.And get your injuries documented by your doctor so that they can be included.

Oh yeah - and sue away my good friend. You must have SOME injury even if very minor, and the law states that where you have physical injury you can claim additionally for mental trauma (but not purely for mental trauma, at least so my solicitors tell me...). The trauma of being pursued for a long time, rammed, threatened, etc. it may well be that their insurers are happy to roll over just to save the little @#£$%&*s from some serious community service or more.

Be wary of the "our client has 3 independant witnesses" (his 3 chav mates with him) - I had this with a cabbie who knocked me off. Had his mate in the front seat, they were chatting about backing each other up while I was sitting there, then hey presto, when it gets investigated he was just an innocent passenger and had never met the cabbie before. How strange. If they didn't want to get sued they shouldn't have done what they did, and they won't learn anything from this unless they get sued senseless and maybe some sort of community service, etc.

Good luck!

If you are injured then claim, also ensure the police pursue the matter with a view to prosecuting them for their driving and aggresive manner.

Just spoke again to my insurer. Apparently i have legal expenses on my cover, and also access to a BUPA Solicitor!

Their legal team is looking into persuing a personal injury claim on my behalf. The insurer agrees that it was entirely the 3rd parties fault. So here goes... what do you recon is in it for me?

My lower back is hurting/aching... which it has never done before, i am struggling to sit at my desk/stand up for long periods of time.

If you have a geniune injury you should make a claim, as for the well their car is totally so what goes around comes around IMHO

I've had this before when I had my Nova, Been followed home and to work both times I reacted aggressivly ( not saying you did GYKD )

First time I went hairing through tiny little country back roads that I knew like the back of my hand and said moron ran his car off the road into a ditch

2nd time all I did, was just to drive slower and slower and slower, till the point I was almost at a standstill with the doors locked just in case, Eventually they got bored and drove off and I drove along minding my own business till I couldnt see them and then drove home.

You did the right thing in going to the police though, personally thats what I would probably do now just drive slowly along the my local cop shop observing the speed limits and not reacting or doing anything to wind the other person up.

Hope your OK look after yourself GYKD
