What about an sv750s? I've read somewhere about this mod, costs a lot more than nitro and stuf but its a better solution for more power from a bike that is intended to go around curves. I imagine it'll manage easilly about 80-90hp and better torque curves all over its range!!!

But then again, if you want more power from your bike......get another one. Its the best safer and least expensive mod. I'm sorry but its the truth .Been through the moding-mania (still have it but i'm on medication) and i'm not going back, cause you need a second bike to go to work, alot of money and at the end of the day your favorite bike is most of the time in bolts n pieces.

a turbo kit on an sv750 would (IMHO) be asking for trouble unless you had a billet block like they do on turbo'd overbore busa's. the stock cylinders would fall apart under all that pressure. i think with the sv your either better off doing one big mod (turbo/super/nitrous/big overbore) or lots of little mods (better cams+high comp pistons+special exhaust+little overbore (50cc or so))
hey, hall13uk, you happen to know this guy or just know of him? i would be very interested in a turbo sv. any idea who he is or where he got the turbo kit from? thanks a lot man, if it were'nt for you i never would've even known that they existed. if anyone has any info on supers as well that would be good, or what kind of mods you reckon the sv would need to put a turbo on there. thanks again, trick |
