I found the SV ones to be a tiny bit too long at the front. Extra cable ties.

Nah, don't bother with stainless, not worth it, so long as you don't let the zinc ones get covered in salt, they'll do the job jsut as well.

Also, I own a zx6r and the rear brake is CACK with the rear braided hose. Its very ON/OFF, just do the front mate, honestly. Buy a two line set.

So don't ride in winter then? The problem with zinc coatings, or in fact any coatings, is that they're only any use until they get scratched or dinged. So they can be fine for years, or they can rust 10 minutes after you buy them, entirely dependant on the quality of the coating, how well packaged they were, if you banged them off anything hard when fitting them, etc. Plus, if they do get makny you need to be careful how you clean them- if stainless get filthy you can just polish 'em up. Do that with corated ones and all you do is take the coating off.

There's a case for both, really.
