This will improve acceleration and make the bike feel a bit stronger in the mid range, but will in turn decrease your mileage because you will be riding at higher revs and your mileometer will start to read wrong because it is measured from the front sprocket. I believe you can get something called a "speedo healer" to correct this, but I don't know how it works or how you fit it. (Never looked)

Do itttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt !!!!
done the same to my R6 and fekin love it, you bike has the added bonus of being fuel injected and as scoob's said you just put an inline "dooberry" thing between the ecu and tacho and set the dip switches depending on wether you have changed front or rear sprockets up or down in size !!

Well worth the cash, plus go for a rethnal rear sprocket, about 1/4 of the weight of a standard rear sprocket

Ah!!!! Falc, just a thought, you will need to replace the nut's that hold on the rear sprocket. Not advisable to use the old ones !!

Nah!

Use the old ones! They'll be OK. I used the old ones and they were fine. If push comes to shove, use these until you can put your hands on some new ones.
