good comments indeed. must admit i have not ridden in rain at night with visor optick but will be aware of the glare factor. major safety issue i agree. obviously try it on a quiet road and see for myself. interesting issue on the diving club visor clean. is it really that good? would you advise use of snorkel

My fog city insert in the Arai ended up a nightmare for above reasons.. anything with bright lights, and it would glare up....
Also the fact that its a very soft plastic meant that after cleaning it a few times, it scratched to buggery, and that was with using a lint free cloth... so after a few months of nearly getting killed in the day as well, I got a pinlock visor at the bike show...
Still has a small amount of glare.. but not quite as much

Still have my smoked visor and insert, as its only used during day time, and has no scratches on it at the moment.. it'll do!

I got rid of my Fog City for the reasons above, I currently use a foggy mask and I find it works really well keeps my nose and mouth nice and warm so I haven't had a runny nose and sore lips this winter.
