It is meant to feed the fan, so a rarely used circuit, lets face it the only time it is likely to be used is in the summer and you won’t have your grips on then!! So no worries about overloading wires etc as you might using the lighting circuit.

Simply splice into the orange/yellow wire and take your +ve feed from there. A twist-solder and tape the 3 ends together will do the trick, but I did mine with a double bullet joint as I have the gear for it. Connect the –ve straight to the battery just below … job jobed … a switched live

With all the excitment of going on holiday I forgot about the damn screen. Doesnt matter anyway as I have to buy a new lid, I got hit by a huge stone and it's cracked my Suomy the thing nearly took my head off too.
