Being down in Folkestone meself its a slight way methinks..

I beleive they are not that close together, unless you go by train that is.

Its only 16 miles by m20, 20 odd by a20 away from ashford anyway..

More input welcome

Oakdene is just of the M20/M26. When you exit the M20 onto the M26, take the first and only slip road, then follow round the roundabout to your right toward wrotham on the A20. The oakdene is on your right as you go up the hill...probably about 600 yds off the roundabout HTH

Just a basic route...if someone would like to expand?

Okdene to Rye, Rye to Hythe then on to Dover via Capel and then end at H's or stop there for lunch then A299 via whitstable or something long those lines.

Just a quick thought after looking at google map.

Basic Route

Meet at Oakdene.

- Oakdene to Ashford on the A20
- Ashford to Rye on the A2070
**stop in Rye, grab a cuppa in a cafe (they've shut the bike park!)**
- Backtrack from Rye down the Camber road through Lydd
- to New Romney, through Dymchurch to Hythe.
- Hythe to Folkestone
- Folkestone to Dover (not on the Alkham Valley - speed limits of 50/40/30 now - and speed cameras sometimes) via Capel, then the old A20
- Dover onwards down the A2 or other route which I cant think of to H's for some munch.

Carry onwards to Whitstable if someone would like to provide a route?
