No rich its not the reason for it mate ... !

I have broken the adjuster section on mine !,, and the return one ic cracked !... so ingress of water ...
however- yea when I was doin a search i saw th R6 throttle tube scenario--- but needed the canles first---

nb- just been down the dealers and ordered my throttle tube- £8 !..cant be bad.
