Gives the bike a cafe racer type look, plus you dont mess up the handling of the original bike. Without my fairing i have widened the clipons and it makes it far more responsive in the city.

Get out of my thread, you lot! Invite only!

(I'm not ignoring the question, by the way, just had a wee chat on the subject )

I like clipons too, but it's not what's wanted for this particular one, having heard the reasoning. So flat bars and a damper The frame etc's nice on a 636, I'm working from memory but I think the yoke's sort of sculpted and not ideal for risers. I thought the radiator and oil cooler were humungous, but apparently not...

Price: £204.67 (Excluding: VAT at 17.5%)

Now I'm not saying Drew's cheap...

Oi! Budget dude - if they can make bespoke for that much I am sure that I can do it myself for less by sourcing the parts

some pics:

the front end doesn't look too bad

I like the light on here but I don't know how waterproof that is

So I figure on taking the existing fairing and chopping it down and getting it finished and sprayed up.

Leave only enough on top to fit a small opaque flyscreen (something the size of the screen that goes on a TDM900). Trim the sides and bottom off. Gonna have to make a bracket to attach it all to the original bracket that holds it all on.

Ooh. Don't like the headlight, but that ram air duct looks fantastic. Twin lights is definately played out, IMO, but that could still make it look good, maybe with axiliary lights at the side. Or the R1 headlights, on either side. I'd not want to soften it with plastic, it looks brilliant as it is.

it's going to look better scruffy than sorted, I think. If the fork legs were silver, it'd help that. A distinctly mad max look... Lucky that, sort of like a Slabbie, looks good without tons of effort. R6s fighter well, but they take loads of effort to look really good, they don't scruff well.

Pics from above the yoke and from the rider's view would be handy if you can manage that... and a head on and squre from the side

Yes you are

like the idea of the cut down nose fairing to cover the lights an air intake, it would make it look like it was meant to be like that rathedr than a crashed zx6 bthat some tight git has fightered as cheap as possible
