As said before, performance filters usually let more crud in, so as we're coming up tp winter (kind of) I'd get a standard to tide you over until the weather betters itself.

Unless of course you don't plan on riding in winter, then by all means go ahead.

I'd say that summer is worse for crud, crud in airfilter terms being dust particles and all ...
