Maybe one of those Gripometres - it measures road grip depending on the road surface and your tyre status. It uses a colour bar so you can see how the various surfaces changes your road grip. A green to amber to red colour bar. It teaches you to push the bike harder or slower depending on the road surfaces.

What an interesting thread
Id like a wax spray that you can spray all over your bike so that at the end of the day you can just peel it off and your bike is pristene again :P

I would like a hero switch/ghost-rider god-mode button .........

but at the moment I would be happy wi a "oxford hot grip" button that does not conk out when it gets a little chilly

Cloaking device? You want a oiled up stroker.

a cheap alternative to the new gsxr's switchable maps? Could probably make a unit that fits inline with the connection to the existing throttle pot and modifies it's resistance.

I will admit i was watching dragon's den last night and wanted to get rich off the biker market. I think there are plenty of people who love accessories and widgets for their bikes and bikers (particularly weekend warriors) will typically have more disposable income than most.

would love a spray that stops Suzuki bolts turning to cheese over time, oh and something other than a dril to get the brake pad pins out

Sure that's possible, you've got me thinking now. Definitely an interesting thread. I'd like a cruise-ship worthy fog-horn, and possibly some sort of mechanism for retracting the mirrors for narrow filtering gaps. Although i guess you could wheelie for a similar effect...

I've got carbs, so no But yep, that's pretty much how you'd do it with most FI. With carbs, you'd need to replace the cable-and-cam operation with something a bit more clever.
