We went to the Roo last night, her first ride. But sadly 'Ol Fourwheels' Stretchie is a fair weather driver, it peed it down.

Oddly enough, the seat is lower than on my SV (the fond memories come flooding back *sniff* ) and you'd be able to touch the floor with both feet at the same time, believe it or not it's also lighter than the SV (dry) which means you have to be a tad more careful with the twisty thing.

No surprise it's lighter, that's part of why they're so fast! So how do you find the riding position -- were you coming from a naked, or an S? Do you miss the low torque of the twin? Bet you don't miss running out of top end when you hit 10K in 6th.

Waddyamean? The poor girl has been soaked for over half her life on the road! (got drenched on the way to Brizzle last night, my gloves are still drying, good job I have a spare pair) Oh and she's far to young to drink.

My SV was an SVS K5 pointy, the riding position is almost the same, the bars are angled down on the new one though, a tad more weight on the palms. On the Mway (dare I admit it) it's quite comfortable, my SV hated the things.

Having a few more revs at the top should with the added low- mid range torque is useful (dunno till she's run in).

The low down torque of the twin is only noticeably missed on takeoff, a spot of clutch feather is need for the same sort of off the line speed. I think it's tuned that way so you don't loop it. Anyway, she's only been here 1 day so I have a lot to learn.
