It's nice to see that now he is back on the road to recovery, so many people are now showing their true colours as to how they feel about the crash... selfish this and dangerous that... does it really matter at the end of the day, and if it had been someone else who crashed a jet powered car and had family, would you all be saying the same thing or is it just because of his celebrity status??

Glad he's getting better, it's good to see that the best safety equipment really works.

The BBC apparently paid him an obscene 'channel handcuff' deal just before the accident. Don't know about you, but I would rather have my licence fee spent on something a little more productive than some average joes bank balance.
What like reality tv shows and soaps???

Yes, the BBC wastes huge amounts of licence fee on unworthy causes; Natasha Koplinski getting £400,000 a year is obscene, just for reading an auto-cue.

Yes he has a big ego, and he has a family and wasn't possibly considering them as much.

But the bottom line is, if someone rolls an open cockpit jet car at 300 mph I want to know about! I don't care who it is!

Agree entirely.. What a dull world it would be without people like the Hamster. I'd like to have a go in a jet powered car...

Point taken. But do you drive jet powered cars for a living?

No, thought not
