Whats wrong are afermarket lowers on sv's. They leave this big gigantic hole in the middle where the two lower fairings join and make it look like such an amateurish design. Plus that way if your downpipe is rusty, it REALLY shows that up as it's the only part of the engine that is visible really with the fairings on!!

Having said that my two faired sv's have had lowers on them. They look good but only at specific angles. Otherwise...

I like lowers. I wanted them from the off but had to save up for them. Make the bike more complete in my view (And yes it is just my view)

I agree the standard SV needs something, though, otherwise it looks like a bit's dropped off
Totally agree, I went for a bellypan as didn't like lowers as when you get really close the join was very noticeable. Black/dark coloured lowers on a black/dark coloured bike look really good in photos though.

Why would you want to hide the V-Twin engine anyway?

Hovi, your gonna get a slap!

My sv looks sooo sexy WITHOUT lowers!, she has a bellypan and thats it!, they were made naked so should be left un-dressed
