I find the lights on my K5 fine on back roads , just need to keep them clean .
The wife was moaning about our car ( Vectra) headlights , gave them a wipe as they were filthy & they are spot again .
Not sure about curvy lights though ....

The lights on a MK1 fazer 600 were the worst I had used on a bike , they really were c##p

Cheers Steve

I have a naked curvy with a yellow Nokya bulb. Its the same wattage as oem but the yellow cuts through the weather better than white. As an added bonus it makes me more visible during the day.

I've always thought the pointy lamp was quite good. However, coming home last night the traffic was awful so I went for the backlane route. Because of the rain parts were like riding along a river and there was lots of debris. I was struggling to pick out the gravel and mud on the road. I think this is more due to the road dirt that had covered the headlamp lens by this point but I was wishing the lamp was brighter to compensate!
Yeah, don't wash your lenses, just get an aftermarket HID kit :P
