Mine would probably be along the lines of:

1. Almax chain
2. Hefty ground anchor
3. Front disc lock
4. Sturdy garage door bolts
5. Garage alarm (more use than bike alarm IMO - protects more, less likely to go wrong!)

I don't have my bikes alarmed. But the shed where the SV lives at night has a sensor on the door and a movement sensor on the inside which is linked to the house alarm.

As has been said, for the amount I'd save on the insurance premium against what it would cost to have an alarm fitted to the bike, it isn't worth the cost for me.
