How many miles is your 6 months? Microns can be like that, they're a clever design but clever doesn't mean it works The one I had was always blowing fibres out, sometimes you could see it do it.

My old Micron was a real bitch for blowing packing but the new one is better. The new one has a fine mesh over the baffle, i'm sure this helps deaden the blows
