Really ?? How many have you spoken to ?

I had my VFR for 5 years & I never found it slow - how much faster than 160 mph do you want to go ?? (on private roads obviously !!)

Rumour has it that the new VFR will be a 1000cc machine - to compete directly with the current Triumph

Agreed - but as we all know, BHP figures are only good for pub 'blah' !! :P

I think that the V4 configuration is probably the best around all things considered (for a road bike at least).

Comparing the VFR to race rep doesn't make any sense - it isn't & never will be !! But, it's a hell of a lot more practical & comfortable for 'real world', everyday riding

Was not denigrating the VFR and agree with what you say. 'Slow' is a relative term and I never found my VFR 750 lacking. Your standard power ranger race rep boy will find it 'slow'.

I think its time honda gave us a new V4 race-rep machine.

Mr Honda, can the next fireblade be a V4 please?

The sound of colin edwards and arron slight's works RC45's at brands in '99 sometimes enteres my imagination. Sounded brilliant, they did.
