I dont know what they're like for servicing...I always had mine serviced at Sturdeys in Tonbridge. PM svpilot...I think he always had his serviced with Bates...personally I find them all at Bates a bit unfriendly.

Well- it was all good this morning ('cept the traffic), then I encountered the sleet on the way home- ugh. To drizzly to wipe the visor effectively, so screen up and getting a cold shower in the face! Was clumsy in using the back brake first, skidded a little (almost in my pants too), but regained control.

And it's bound to be nice and icy in the morning judging by the condition of the road right not- roll on the spring is what I say!!

I had no trouble getin mine serviced at bates, i'd rather take it there that aye gee's.

They can be a bit...well...grumpy i spose in bates but if the old sales guy is in a good mood then you won't stop him talking . Plus they always seem to deal with things properly unlike a few other shops i've dealt with.

i actually really liked that too, and the k1200s even more. I couldn't believe how comfortable they were. i tried sitting on the 600s but found my head over the front wheel, i'm only 6'2" aswell. maybe i'll just have to get a k1200s or a superduke next....shame :P

Thanks for the advice sounds like they might be the best option for the 11k then or are there better in the area?

I have a garage I always use for my car and in fact it actually is a consideration when replacing the car as to whether or not I'll be able to use him, as he only deals with one make. It means a lot to be able to trust the place you get your work done.

So this advice is better than me just trying and seeing.
