As it turned out the shop had a lot of trouble getting delivery so I went for a CCC and didn't look back. Ho hum, never mind.
You sure the part number isn't for the complete thing- link pipe, hanger, and can?

CCC pipe on SV650 replaced original - I don't believe any difference with engine braking but sounds a treat. Wife's bike (I've never ridden it on original pipe)

Scorpion on Bandit 600 replacing original (about £140 all in). Performance better all round and sounded great.

Scorpion (high level - £160 all in)) on Daytona 955 replacing Triumph race can (£245!!), no change in performance, that I can tell, but I'm just mr Average of that type of stuff, but sounds fantastic.

All baffles removed - never ridden with baffles in

Ordered through Seastar Superbikes online http://www.seastarsuperbikes.co.uk/ delivered both in less than a week.

Seastar do hold a stock. Different prices though only about £10 between Bandit and Daytona pipes plus another £10 for tona high level bits. My tona pipe was in stock - ordered on Friday, processed on Monday and delivered on Tuesday .

Not convinced there is much between them technically just the length of leading pipe to can (obviously any diameters differences) and any link pipes required?

Sorry for the slight de-rail but a question for BigDog - do you know of anywhere that will do an adjustable clutch lever for the FZX, or a bike that will have one that will fit? I can't ride mine at present because it's knackering my hand

Cheers

Amanda

How this?

Can't fathom why a freer flowing exhaust would affect engine braking. Thought engine braking was decided by engine compression and cylinder size/displacement. And of course slipper clutches, air bleed systems, etc.

Could the PAIR system have something to do with it?

I never altered the PAIR on mine and it engine braked the same with standard can or full system, baffle in or out.
