I wonder if there's some sort of battery powered electric 'fencing' stuff u can get to go round the bottom of the cover...
Have you ever peed on an electric fence? I know a couple of people who have once... and will NEVER do it again...

get some of those south american fish that supposidly swim up the trail of urine and stick themselves into your John Thomas. Need to go off to google now find out what they are

leave a few orange peels around it. Its a way people stop their dogs doing it in the house (and cats for that matter). Apparently they hate the smell so steer clear
