Oh no, you need far more damage on a Daytona to get street cred (unless it's a 675)

Sorry to hear that - is it the bike in your avatar ?
I very nearly did the same when my front wheel landed on a clear piece of corigated plastic (carport roof stuff) - very close thing.

Exclamation Re: Bloody Gravel

it was going to happen, now although your gixer is a bit more pricy than my sv needless to say when i dropped mine for the first time it involved a curb 70 miles an hour and £1000 + worth of damage, .......... feel lucky that wasnt the case for the beautifull machine you own

I wouldn't worry about the gravel much. Pain in the rear, yes, but nothing major.

First ride on the SV, I turned back into my road, and found out that I hadn't spotted a rock. Front wheel rolled over the rock at under 10mph. It also shifted sideways what felt like 10miles. Sh*t myself & put a foot down sharpish. Saved the bike

Took it up the road, backed into the garden, got off to push it through the little door at the side so I could put it round the back of the house, and oh f*** I've just dropped the bike in that bush. B***** me!
