get out in the rain. if you didnt ride in the rain in scotland you would never ride. no matter what direction you go up here you go through a rain shower at some point during the day

What tyres are you on?

Makes a hell of a difference to how the bike handles and feels, especially in the wet.

The Metzler Z6 tyres I use inspire confidence in the wet.

Really? I never liked them in the wet, never gave me any confidence. Maybe that was just a bike thing in total though on reflection... Certainly preferred the Bridgestone 020s to the Metzlers...

Its interesting how people react to different tyres. Most CBF owners dont like the the BT057s that come on new CBFs, yet I have no problems with them. But then again the gripe is wet weather handling and its only done dry miles so far... hey hum guess Ill find out in Scotland
