Re: Hood Concept 6 Jeans mini review
Bought a pair of hood denims to replace my rather tired looking Giali numbers...
Decided to try Hood because they use more Kevlar than Draggin etc..., and unlike the other manufacturers they're a small UK based company. I opted for the concept 6 jeans, cause I thought they were probably more comfortable. Went a size up on my normal fit because the Kevlar reinforcement means you get little in the way of stretch around the waist. They were HUGE! I could have got myself a job as one of MC Hammers dancers with these bad boys on! Spoke to Chris using e-mail and told him where it was good and where it was to big. He gave me three options:- 1 Send them back for a full refund. 2 Send them back and Chris would make me a pair to my measurements. 3 Chris would send me pair he thought would fit, and if OK I send back the big pair and keep the new ones. If not happy send them both back for either option 1 or 2! Went for option 3 and the new ones are spot on! Very happy with the fit and loads of Kevlar... As standard he alters the length of the leg for you. Best part - superb customer service - almost as good as Scottoiler! 10/10 Better than my old Giali's, comfy, and packed with Kevlar. No armour fitted in my denims, but I did by these to wear underneath! |
