Textiles don't give anywhere near the abrasion protection of leathers. A one second slide on tarmac will rip a textile suit to shreds. I can back this up with test figures if needed, it was my job for 10 years.

I got some baggy Hein Gericke leather/textile overtrousers which I wear winter and summer. In the winter I put in the linings (and can wear jeans under them too as they're loose enough) and they're toasty, in the summer they're a bit hotter but it's such a short journey and as they're baggy there's a bit of airflow. Waterproof too.

Spada textile jacket, but only if it looks like rain. Spada leather jacket if it's sunny - just feels more protective and looks better. All fits over shirt, tie & trousers.
